General Objective:

The objective of this position is to create and execute sales strategies for all VCloud services across several vertical markets, including pharmaceutical manufacturers and medical device companies, for the specific purpose of generating new contracts for the company. VCloud will review your performance periodically to assure this objective is being met or exceeded. The SVP of sales will also be responsible for leading the sales team to meet and/or exceed assigned goals/quotas.

Primary Role and Responsibilities

  • Drive VCloud’s Sales Strategy and ensure Target Sales are on or above target.
  • Detail new capabilities to the brand marketing team, evaluate prospective business impact and drive strategic adoption.
  • Work with the marketing department to design print and online promotional materials for the VCloud’s new inside sales offerings.
  • Work with the operations, client services and IT teams to develop various types of sales offerings.
  • Assist in recruiting and hiring additional sales staff and developing training programs
  • Collaborate with program management and client services for client quarterly and annual business reviews as well as other meetings, as needed.
  • Review customer activity, anticipating customer needs and assist in the improvement of overall customer satisfaction.
  • Continuously researching prospects and generating leads.
  • Contact potential and existing customers on the phone, email and in person
  • Preparation and delivery of sales quotes and proposals.
  • Manage the sales process.
  • Build and maintain a CRM database.
  • Establish and maintain key customer relationships.
  • Ongoing evaluation of qualitative and quantitative data to be able to identify opportunities, tell the customer journey, and drive impacts for the business and customers
  • Champion all sales related to align with service offerings.

Special Position Requirements

  • Ability to think strategically.
  • Demonstrated follow-through, problem solving and communication skills.
  • Pharmaceutical/health care/managed care industry contact center experience a plus
  • Experience working within a team environment structure to support existing and prospective client needs.
  • Demonstrated history of effectively multi-tasking against competing timelines and resources.
  • Understanding of marketing technology as it relates to multi-channel marketing, preferably with an emphasis on CRM, and contact center (Live Operator, IVR, Chat and SMS) and digital channels.
  • Experienced in documenting process, training and offering strategic consultation
  • Effective verbal and written communication and listening skills
  • Strong visual and verbal presentation skills


  • Four-year college degree
