Role and Responsibilities
- Analyze departmental needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions
- Ensure network components work together seamlessly to meet business needs, using their full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitor solutions
- Analyze processes, technologies, and vendors continually to find areas for improvementMonitors and performs network security
- Ensures all software updates are current and completed
- Access Controls for internal and external user accounts
- Works in conjunction with corporate compliance to implement VCloud system policies
- Works with various VCloud functional areas to assist as needed with projects and proposals to meet and exceed both client and company goals
- Accountable to ensure that operations staff has the technical resources at hand to operate efficiently and effectively
- Independently manage multiple concurrent requests
- Act as primary contact for any IT related requests and/or issues
- Responsible for website and intranet monitoring and maintenance
- Supervise staff as needed and delegate assignments to ensure expectations, internal and external deliverables and program timelines are being met
- Prepare cost–benefit analyses when upgrades are necessary, and monitor vendors to ensure that they’re offering the best-possible service and value for business needs
- Train employees to use software and hardware; troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when needed
- Develop and execute disaster planning and maintain data backups
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Three or more years of experience in IT management
- Demonstrated experience using our proprietary programming language vci-scripting
- Demonstrated experience to create interactive voice response using vci-scripting
- Demonstrated experience in VCloud's DNS record management.
- Demonstrated experience in creating real time interactive reports using google data studio
- Deep knowledge of programming languages and operating systems, current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and systems performance monitoring.
- Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions
- Strong creative and analytical thinking
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to effectively to manage many systems across many platforms
- Ability to quickly learn, analyze, understand and convey complex information
- Proactive, highly motivated and deadline driven
- Excellent interpersonal and rapport building skills with ability to quickly engage and build strong relationships
- Strong understanding of google workspace ecosystem.
- Demonstrated experience with Cloud Technologies (GCP, AWS, Azure), Serverless architecture, WordPress architecture and Linux operating systems.
- Strong Understanding of Networking, Switching and Routing
Preferred skills and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer science
- Knowledge in vci-scripting, twilio api requests, google workspace, google cloud, voccs system.
- Ability to quickly learn, analyze, understand and convey complex information
- Proactive, highly motivated and deadline driven
- Excellent interpersonal and rapport building skills with ability to quickly engage and build strong relationships
